For the first time in a long time, I really got a chance to go out and shoot for a bit. \u00a0I went downtown after work and got some shots of the sunset and the city at night. \u00a0I’m very much a proponent of the ‘gear doesn’t make the shot’ crowd, but on evenings like this, new technologies in gear certainly make things more fun and easier to get. \u00a0I didn’t have my tripod with me, so longer exposure night shots wouldn’t have been possible, but with image stabilization and pretty darn good higher ISO capabilities made it so I could shoot the whole evening handheld. \u00a0It was a bit chilly this evening, but I’m definitely glad I took the time to go shoot!<\/p>\n
