As I was driving yesterday, I drove through some heavy rain, and after it cleared, I noticed the clouds were simply awesome: tons of contrast and waves. \u00a0I got off the highway and began searching for a subject to highlight these clouds. \u00a0I originally was looking for a vantage point for rolling hills across the scene or such, but I passed a farm with this old, scraggly dead tree perched atop a hill, with some hay bales at the foot of the hill. \u00a0I asked the farmer if he would mind if I took some photos. \u00a0He said to go ahead and I had about 5 minutes to shoot before the clouds had passed and returned to a more normal gray and white.<\/p>\n
