This past weekend, I finally had some time to get out and do some proper shooting.  You know, where you get up early to catch the good light, you bring a tripod and really focus on the photography? I try to get out and shoot like this as often as I can, but given the hectic days, it can be hard to find several hours with which to really focus on shooting.  Too often, I shoot in short 15-20 minute bursts when I get a chance, and this is often when the light is less than stellar.<\/p>\n

Anyway, with my time, I headed down to Hocking Hills State Park in the southeast quadrant of Ohio.  I got there just before dawn and was able to hike through the gorge and get a fair few decent photos.  I brought my Fuji system along this time, shooting with my X-E1 with 14mm f\/2.8, 35mm f\/1.4, 55-200mm f\/3.5-4.8 and my Rokinon 8mm fisheye.  Here are some of my best shots from the trip.<\/p>\n
