My Favorite Photos of 2021

My Favorite Photos of 2021

If you’ve been around this site for a while, you’ll know that every year I like to go through the images I’ve taken throughout the year and pick out some favorites to share. These aren’t always my best photos, but the ones that I personally like the best throughout the year. This year was one of change, as I fully switched to the Canon RF mount from Sony early in the year. Aside from the new gear, it was definitely a year of fits and starts. I’d have a string of photos I really enjoyed, then a drought, then another good stretch, and another drought. So it often goes with photography. The highlight of the year photographically was a trip to Seattle in August, where I had a chance to see the city and also do a small amount of shooting in Olympic National Park. I hope I will get to do a bit more travel in 2022. Anyway, here are a selection of 25 of my favorites that I took in 2021, presented in chronological order.

It works very well. It’s a touch wider than the WCL-X100, and a lot cheaper (though you will have to buy used now). See my X100V review for additional info.

Jordan, beautiful collection of photos. Now live on the east coast but sometimes get back to Ohio to visit family. You set inspires me to look up and visit some of these spots you’ve covered. Really appreciate all your reviews, Craig
