This being the only camera drone I’ve had the pleasure to use, I won’t make any definitive statements with regards to its abilities in comparison to other drones. With that said, I’ve found the DJI Air 2S to be an incredibly fun tool that has opened up photographic capabilities and opportunities I never had before. Over the nearly 6 months I’ve been using it, I’ve flown over 47 miles in 62 flights, while taking over 1,000 photos. It has been incredibly reliable throughout that time, with no crashes or failures. The camera quality isn’t perfect, but it is very good overall, especially given the price. This is a good 1″ sensor camera with an incredibly stable gimbal, and a maneuverable, reliable and fun to fly aircraft attached to it. That all of this can be had for $1,000 is simply incredible to me. It’s become a major tool in my photographic arsenal, and I’ve just had a lot of fun with it. Highly recommended.

Excellent review! It’s reviews like this that can sway people to buy or not to buy. It’s now 2024 and I’m waiting for my Air2S to arrive bought for 450€ and flown 3 times – a bargain! I can’t wait to get it up in the sky and take some photos. Like you I’m more into stills than video but it makes perfect sense to dominate video too. I love your photos and the video is also vey good. Ohio looks like a beautiful city!
