My Favorite Photos of 2016

Posted on December 27, 2016December 27, 2016 by Jordan Steele

Every year, I like to take a look back at the photos I took throughout the last 12 months and see how things have progressed. 2016 was an incredibly busy year for me outside of photography, as many of you may have noticed. I am sorry that I have been so thin on reviews the past 6 months, but I’ve been swamped at work and home, with limited time to shoot and write.  That said, I was quite pleased with my photography this past year, despite more limited shooting time, and managed what I feel is one of my best photos ever this past fall.  So, here’s a selection of my favorites I took this year, starting with my top image (the rest are in no specific order).  I hope you enjoy!

It’s a pleasure to read a camera website by someone who is also a great photographer. Your Gulf of Mexico picture is an absolute stunner.

Outstanding selection. Interestingly, you created 20 of these photographs with the Sony A7II and an assortment of lenses. Always enjoy your work here. Thank you for sharing your opinions and creations! Hope to see many more in the year to come.
