Took a little bit of time before and during a break in a long work day to take some shots in the pre-dawn light, and the early night today, involving my city’s lovely skyline. As you can tell from the images below, the wind was quite a bit calmer this morning. Both of the shots are with the Fuji 18-55, tripod mounted. Interestingly, both are a 15 second exposure as well, but the first at f/14 and the second at f/11.

I like that second one. See – sometimes ignoring the rules (like “don’t put the horizon in the middle”) still pays off, and the outcome can be stunning…
