It’s Winter….

Posted on December 21, 2012 by Jordan Steele

Well, it’s the first day of Winter, and the first blast of wintry weather hear in central Ohio.  Cold and windy, so I only stopped for a few quick shots, but I think this captured the moment well:

Have to disagree about that cold… unless you’re comparing to sauna in which case minimum acceptable temperature is 160F.

When it’s snowing that much it can’t be really cold because cold air mass simply can’t hold enough moisture for that much rain.
Actually cold weather means exposed fingers feeling cold after second or two and starting to freeze in five seconds… or about instantly if handling any object cooler than room temperature.
That’s why Olympus needs to expand their mirrorless body line up to GH3 size camera. (which I got yesterday and feels heavenly to handle)

And Merry Christmas… hopefully you all have real frosty weather by then. 😉

Yes, we know you think it’s not cold unless its -40. Sorry, 20 F with 40mph winds is cold. Not everyone lives in the arctic.
